The Chattanooga Lookouts Social Media Manager is an expert at creating entertaining, innovative and timely content that drives ticket sales, increases engagement and supports community growth across the Lookouts social media platforms including, X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok.
- Responsible for creating and posting social media content that maximizes fan engagement.
- Use social media content to promote Lookouts events, drive ticket sales and further the reach of the Lookouts brand.
- Collaborate across departments including merchandise, food & beverage, special events and ticketing to create engaging content.
- Assist in executing social sponsorship content and activations.
- Assist in creating graphics for social media.
- Monitor and assess social media analytics to identify areas of improvement.
- Produce social content that is optimized to fit each channel and audience.
- Assist Dir. of PR & Marketing in managing content creation schedule and social media publishing calendar.
- Engage Lookouts social accounts and followers in conversation in an authentic voice to grow connections and further the reach of the team’s brand.
- Quickly recognize and react to real-time trends and current events.
- Stay informed on social media trends, including developments in video and design, platforms, best practices, strategies, and innovations to stay relevant and effective.
- Work with VP of PR & Marketing to create weekly newsletter.
- Aid in creating paid social media posts and campaigns.
- Act as key contributor to real-time content as part of game coverage.
- Perform other duties as assigned including pulling tarp.
Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required in the sport industry. Strong interpersonal skills are mandatory to interact and solve problems with customers, co-workers, employees, vendors, and fans.
Salary is commensurate with experience and includes a base salary and benefits including employer sponsored health benefits and company 401K retirement plan.
