Position Overview

The Video Production Intern will assist with all aspects of game presentation and press box operations during the Barons’ 2026 season. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a high-quality entertainment experience for fans through engaging video content, in-game production, and efficient support of the marketing and entertainment team. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, live-event environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist with all in-game video board operations, including running video, graphics, and camera feeds.

· Operate music and sound systems during games and events as assigned.

· Support the Director of Marketing with the setup and execution of in-game entertainment elements and fan engagement initiatives.

· Help manage and train game day staff assigned to video, camera, and control room positions.

· Edit and organize highlight videos, promotional clips, and other digital content for in-game and online use.

· Ensure all production equipment and systems are maintained, tested, and ready for use each game.

· Collaborate with other departments to support sponsor activations, theme nights, and special events.

· Perform other related duties as assigned to enhance the fan experience and game presentation.

Qualifications and Competencies

· Current college student or recent graduate majoring in Communications, Media Production, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field.

· Basic knowledge of video editing, production software, and live-event systems (experience with Daktronics Show Control, Tricaster, or similar platforms preferred).

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

· Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.

· Passion for sports entertainment and a desire to gain hands-on experience in live event production.
