Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Usher/Ticket Taker. As an Usher/Ticket Taker, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our guests at our venue.
Providing top notch customer service is your responsibility. Our ushers will be essential in creating a safe and memorable experience for all guests. This position is ideal for candidates who want to immerse themselves in an exciting live entertainment environment.
Duties:
- Proactively greet guests with a warm and welcoming attitude
- Scan tickets and verify their authenticity
- Assist guests in finding their seats and provide directions to various areas of the venue
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Monitor guest behavior and enforce venue policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all
- Assist with crowd control during peak times, such as intermissions or after events
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the venue before, during, and after events
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Identify opportunities to create memorable experiences for our fans
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in guest services helpful
- Experience working with children is beneficial
- Strong public speaking skills to make announcements or provide instructions to large groups
- Excellent hospitality skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations professionally and calmly
- Exceptional customer service skills to address guest needs and concerns effectively
Qualifications:
- The ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays
- Reliable transportation to be on time for each scheduled shift
- The ability to stand for extended periods of time
