Game day Staff Positions 

Reports to: Assistant GM, Sales 

Pay Rate: $9/hr 
 
Ticket Seller Job Description
·       Serve the general public by selling event related tickets. 
·       Responsible for cash management and compliance. 
·       Operate cash register and/or credit card equipment. 
·       Sell and process ticket orders via mail, telephone, Internet, and over-the-counter 
·       Resolve ticket issues as needed. 
·       Distribute ticket information to patrons and answer questions in response to inquiries about game day and events. 
·       Assist with closing of the ticket office, including preparations of cash banks and updating seating charts and event information. 
·       Additional duties may be assigned. 

Parking Attendant Job Description
·       Greet all arriving and departing guests at the ballpark.
·       Responsible for cash management and compliance. 
·       Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow to proper areas. 
·       Assist fans with questions regarding directions, and information regarding the ballpark. 
·       Request courtesy carts to assist guest as needed. 
·       Monitor parking lots for safety and security of fans, employees, and vehicles. 
·       Address all customer comments and complaints; involve supervisor as needed. 
·       Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. 

Retail Associate Job Description
  • Generate Customer Sales
  • Operate a cash register

  • Expected to work every Crawdads home game
  • Maintain organization of retail location
 
Usher Job Description
·       Greet, Direct, and Assist fans that arrive at the ballpark. 
·       Provide fans with information about the ballpark, seating charts, restrooms, concessions, promotion items and emergency exits. 
·       Offer suggestions to make the game day experience one of the best. 
·       Inform fans on upcoming promotions/events at that ballpark. 
·       Assist all fans with locating their respective seating location within the ballpark, and assist fans by answering questions about the facility and team. 
·       Request wheelchair and courtesy cart transportation as needed. 
·       Assist in keeping the ballpark a clean environment, and work with the management staff to resolve any situation which requires attention. 
·       Additional duties may be assigned. 

Customer Service Job Description
·       Welcome fans to the ballpark. 
·       Assist in the resolution of fans needs and complaints
·       Handle the Customer Care Booth
·       Check-in all first pitches
·       Notify supervisor of any accidents or incidents. 
·       Assist with lost and found items. 
·       Inform fans on upcoming promotions/events at that ballpark. 
·       Enforce all ballpark policies. 
·       Additional duties may be assigned. 

Crawdette & Crawdude Job Description: 
·       Ensure guests’ check-in procedures are followed.
·       Responsible for operating games and passing out prizes; interact with guests as they participate in the games.
·       Ensure guests are safely using the play equipment.
·       Ensure young guests are not leaving the enclosed area without their parent/guardian.
·       Assist with the nightly setup and end of night breakdown/clean up.
·       Enforce all ballpark policies.
·       Additional duties may be assigned.
 
 

Qualifications
·       Working experience in cash handling. 
·       Strong computer proficiency and analytical, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills preferred. 
·       Must be able to work Opening Day and July 3rd 
·       Must be able to lift, pull, push and/or carry 50 pounds as necessary. 
·       Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a high volume sales environment. 
·       Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions to include extreme heat, cold, and rain.
·       Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 
·       Ability to stand, sit, and walk for 4-6 hours.
