The Rome Emperors, High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, bring exciting baseball and interactive fan experiences to AdventHealth Stadium. With a growing roster of future MLB stars and a commitment to community engagement, they are a proud part of Rome, Georgia. The Rome Emperors are a proud member club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). DBH was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through best practices, professional management, innovation, and investment. 
 
Position Overview:
The Rome Emperors are seeking an enthusiastic Ticket Operations Intern for the 2026 Minor League Baseball season.  This role requires a season-long commitment through September 2026. Interns report directly to both the Director of Ticketing and the Regional Manager of Ticket Operations, and they play a vital role in delivering a first-class experience for our fans.
This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or early career professionals who are passionate about sports, highly motivated, and eager to gain hands-on leadership experience in ticketing operations. The internship begins in or around February 2026 and runs through the conclusion of the season in September 2026.

Compensation:
The Team will provide you with a monthly stipend of $500 for your living expenses and you will be paid hourly for all games that you are scheduled at $9.00 in addition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all fans and guests.
  • Sell and process ticket orders (walk up, phone, and online).
  • Lead the Ticket Office on gamedays, including supervising, scheduling, and supporting part-time staff.
  • Manage daily box office operations for games and non-game events.
  • Assist with season ticket assignments, group sales, and special events.
  • Respond to fan inquiries regarding schedules, policies, delays, and rainchecks.
  • Support game day responsibilities such as promotions, fan engagement, and creating an energetic atmosphere.
  • Assist with stadium operations when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Tickets or Regional Manager of Ticket Operations.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ticketing or cash-handling experience preferred but not required.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions:
  • Positions are based on-site at AdventHealth Stadium.
  • Standard office equipment (computers, phones, tablets, copiers) is used regularly.
  • Interns may be exposed to varying weather conditions during games and events.
