The Rome Emperors, High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, bring exciting baseball and interactive fan experiences to AdventHealth Stadium. With a growing roster of future MLB stars and a commitment to community engagement, they are a proud part of Rome, Georgia. The Rome Emperors are a proud member club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). DBH was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through best practices, professional management, innovation, and investment.
Position Overview:
The Rome Emperors are looking to hire an intern for the 2026 Season for our Stadium Operations Internship. This is an awesome opportunity for a December 2025 graduate, or a May 2026 graduate, we will also consider someone who is in school and needs the internship credit- or wants to get the experience you need, along with training to learn hands management of how manage a stadium and facility in a baseball environment.
Compensation:
The Team will provide you with a monthly stipend of $500 for your living expenses and you will be paid hourly for all games that you are scheduled at $9.00 in addition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work alongside and assist the Director of Stadium Operations engaging in daily operations stadium operation's needs.
- Understand and engage in stadium maintenance duties.
- Planning, set-up, and breakdown of all stadium events during the season.
- Daily management and scheduling of game day staff members.
- Assist other departments with various tasks, when necessary and appropriate.
- Assist in departmental problem solving, project planning and the development and execution of departmental goals and objectives.
- Perform daily walkthroughs of the facility to ensure a proper set-up is complete for each event and game.
- Other duties as assigned.
To be considered for the position:
- You must be able to start full-time on site in the role as of March 2024, we can facilitate earlier if needed.
- You must be a recent college grad, or need this internship to graduate (either, or).
- You must actually want to learn how to be a Stadium Operations Manager for a team and have a passion for it.
- You must have strong attention to detail be willing to do what is needed to ensure the areas you are responsible for are pristine.
- You must be able to lift at minimum 50lbs and have the agility to work in a stadium for many hours rain or shine.
