The Rome Emperors, High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, bring exciting baseball and interactive fan experiences to AdventHealth Stadium. With a growing roster of future MLB stars and a commitment to community engagement, they are a proud part of Rome, Georgia. The Rome Emperors are a proud member club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). DBH was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through best practices, professional management, innovation, and investment.
Position Overview:
The Rome Emperors are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Partnership Activation Intern for the 2026 season. This position plays a vital role in supporting the partnerships department by helping execute sponsor activations, track partnership fulfillment, and deliver top-tier service to our corporate partners. This is a hands-on, fast-paced, and demanding internship—ideal for someone pursuing a career in sports marketing, partnership activation, or client services. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, communicates confidently, and embraces long hours at the ballpark.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present weekly partnership activation schedules to full-time staff and communicate which partners will activate each homestand.
- Meet with the Creative Team to plan photo/video content needed for partner fulfillment.
- Upload and organize photos and videos in partner OneDrive folders following activations.
- Serve as a liaison to partners during the season — check in regularly to ensure satisfaction and identify ways to enhance their experience.
- Learn and utilize Digi-Deck for presentations and the team’s CRM system for tracking partner activity.
- Coordinate with the Food & Beverage Manager to compile and send reports to partners regarding suite or catering activity.
- Participate in select theme nights dressed as a special character during in-game entertainment segments.
- Support in-game activations, pregame setup, and postgame follow-up to ensure all elements are flawlessly executed.
- Assist the partnership department with recap materials, sponsor hospitality, and other projects as assigned.
Schedule & Expectations:
- Office Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on both game weeks and off weeks.
- Gameday Hours: Clock in at 5:00 PM and work all home games unless otherwise excused by the Director of Partnership Sales & Marketing.
- Must be available for the full 2026 season, including preseason setup and special events.
- Expected to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or Business.
- Confident in public speaking and capable of leading presentations to staff and partners.
- Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud-based platforms (OneDrive preferred).
- Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays during the season.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to grow within the sports industry.
Compensation:
- Monthly stipend provided
- $9.00/hour for all games you are scheduled in addition
Full-time seasonal commitment required, including all home games and special events.
