About the Rome Emperors: 
The Rome Emperors, High-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, bring exciting baseball and interactive fan experiences to AdventHealth Stadium. With a growing roster of future MLB stars and a commitment to community engagement, they are a proud part of Rome, Georgia. The Rome Emperors are a proud member club of Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH). DBH was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through best practices, professional management, innovation, and investment.

Position Overview:
The Rome Emperors are seeking an energetic, creative, and organized Marketing Intern to join our front office team for the 2026 season. This position offers hands-on experience in sports marketing, game-day promotions, event planning, and community engagement. The intern will play a vital role in enhancing the fan experience and promoting the Rome Emperors brand throughout the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Marketing & Promotions
    • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing and promotional initiatives.
    • Organize and manage in-game skits, promotions, and fan engagement activities.
    • Support the promotional team in setup, timing, and execution of entertainment elements during games.
  • Mascot & Community Relations
    • Coordinate and schedule mascot appearances at community events, schools, and partner locations.
    • Serve as a liaison between community organizations and the Rome Emperors for event logistics.
    • Ensure the mascot program supports team marketing and community outreach goals.
  • Social Media & Content Support
    • Collaborate with the social media and content team to create engaging, on-brand content.
      • Capture photos and videos for social media platforms and marketing materials.
  • Maintain the event calendar and support promotion of special events throughout the season.
  • Event Management
    • Assist with planning, promotion, and execution of special events both at the ballpark and in the community.
    • Support event logistics, including setup, teardown, and fan engagement on-site.

Schedule & Expectations:
  • Office Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on both game weeks and off weeks.
  • Gameday Hours: Clock in at 5:00 PM and work all home games unless otherwise excused by the Director of Operations and Events.
  • Season Availability: Must be available for the full 2026 season, including preseason setup and special events.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work weekends, evenings, and some weekdays as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud-based platforms (OneDrive preferred).
  • Knowledge of Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects is encouraged but not required.
  • Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays during the season.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to grow within the sports industry.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to interact comfortably with fans, staff, and community members.
  • Basic familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok and Facebook).

Compensation:
  • Monthly stipend provided.
  • Hourly pay for gamedays during the season.
