About the Greenville Drive
The Greenville Drive, the High-A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, is committed to providing a first-class fan experience at Fluor Field while serving as a centerpiece of the Upstate South Carolina community. We are seeking one highly motivated, detail-oriented, and technically skilled individual to join our team as the Broadcast Production Intern for the 2026 season.
Position Overview
The Summer Broadcast Production Intern will support the Drive's game-day production team in delivering high-quality broadcasts and in-stadium entertainment. This position provides full-time, hands-on experience in live sports production and is ideal for an aspiring broadcast professional seeking exposure to advanced production technology and real-time event execution.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of live game-day broadcasts and in-stadium video board production.
- Operate production equipment including cameras, switchers, replay systems, and graphics platforms.
- Contribute to the setup, operation, and breakdown of production equipment on game days.
- Work closely with the production staff to ensure seamless live execution of video board content, replays, and sponsor activations.
- Collaborate with the creative, social media, and marketing teams to deliver engaging fan experiences.
- Capture and log broadcast footage for highlights, recaps, and archival purposes.
- Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and effectively during live productions.

Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Broadcast Production, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- Experience with production equipment and workflows; familiarity with XPression, 3Play, Blackmagic Switchers, and Blackmagic Cameras a strong plus.
- Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, strongly preferred.
- Technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Basic understanding of live video production, graphics, and replay systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction in a live production environment.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the baseball schedule.
