Mission - It is the Goal and Mission of Greenville Drive Clubhouse Services to provide the highest level of customer service to players, coaches and staff of the Boston Red Sox, Visiting teams, and Umpires of the South Atlantic League, by providing a safe and clean clubhouse and locker room atmosphere conducive to player and umpire development, free from all unnecessary distractions.
Job Description - The Clubhouse Intern, under direct supervision of the Director of Team & Clubhouse Operations and indirect supervision of the Visiting Clubhouse Manager, is responsible for maintenance, operation, and service of the Clubhouse area during the 2026 season. This includes the locker room, coaches/manager's office, trainer's room, bathrooms/shower areas, and batting cages, etc.
Duties - The duties and responsibilities of the Clubhouse Intern include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist with inventory and control of all Greenville Drive clubhouse property and equipment.
- Assisting with cleaning, organization, and setup of clubhouse area and ensure readiness for operation prior to team(s) arrival.
- Set out snacks and drinks for players, coaches, and staff prior to team arrival.
- Availability to assist with running errands.
- Assist with laundry of team uniforms, personal items and towels.
- Clean and set up of dugouts, bullpens and field for practice and games.
- Cleaning cleats and coaches shoes.
- Continuous upkeep and organization of the clubhouse, including taking out garbage, restocking of food and other items.
- Assisting Red Sox staff with receiving and setup of pre and post game meals.
- Assist with loading and unloading equipment on buses.
- Other duties, tasks and assignments as directed by the Director of Team & Clubhouse Operations.
- Contribute a positive attitude and customer service to all Red Sox players, coaches, and staff.
Job Qualifications – Job qualifications for this role are as follows:
- Seasonal role for the 2026 baseball season (Start date is April/May 2026 and assignment shall end in August).
- Ability to perform all responsibilities listed above
- Ability to work long hours, late nights, and/or holidays
- Available for all Drive home games. Schedule will be set for road stands based on needs to be done each week. This schedule is at the discretion of the Director of Team & Clubhouse Operations.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
