The Video Production & Content Creator is responsible for capturing, producing, and editing compelling video and digital content that brings the team’s brand to life. This role plays a key part in storytelling across social media, digital platforms, in-venue experiences, and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate is creative, fast-paced, detail-oriented, and thrives in a live sports environment.   The role is seasonal and will run from February to October 2026.  


Key Responsibilities
  • Capture high-quality video content at games, community events, and team activations
  • Film cinematic highlights, behind-the-scenes moments, player features, hype videos, and branded content
  • Edit video content for multiple platforms, including social media, website, email, and in-venue displays
Social & Digital Content
  • Create short-form and long-form videos optimized for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Facebook
  • Collaborate with the social media team on content planning, trends, and real-time coverage
  • Maintain brand voice, visual identity, and storytelling standards
Creative Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, partnerships, and communications teams to support campaigns and initiatives
  • Collaborate with players, coaches, and staff to capture authentic content
  • Assist with sponsored content and branded storytelling
Game Day & Event Coverage
  • Provide live or near-real-time content during games and events
  • Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during the season
Asset Management
  • Organize, archive, and manage media files and creative assets
  • Maintain and care for video, photo, and audio equipment

Qualifications & Skills

Required
  • Experience in videography, video editing, or content creation (sports experience preferred)
  • Strong proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
  • Understanding of social media trends and digital storytelling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours
Preferred
  • Experience working for a sports team, league, or athletic department
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, or drone operation
  • Experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras
  • Passion for sports and fan engagement
