POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Gameday Promotions & Programming Manager is responsible for creating, directing, and executing all in-game entertainment, theme nights, and promotional content for the Brooklyn Cyclones. This position plays a key role in shaping the fan experience — from the moment gates open until the final out — while supporting the team’s marketing and sponsorship initiatives. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced live event environment.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Direct, design, and execute all in-game entertainment, theme nights, and promotional activations.
  • Produce and manage live game entertainment, including scripts, timing, and coordination of in-game elements.
  • Create high-impact video and digital content for live broadcasts, social media platforms, and the ballpark video board.
  • Direct, produce, and edit short-form video features to enhance storytelling and fan engagement.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise ~15 entertainers and street team members.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise team of 6–8 camera operators and production staff.
  • Manage team mascots, overseeing appearances, performance quality, and costume maintenance both in-park and at community events.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for celebrity guests, coordinating appearances, logistics, and meet & greets.
  • Collaborate with the sponsorship sales team to develop engaging partner activations and integrate sponsor messaging into entertainment programming.
  • Ensure all sponsor obligations are fulfilled and create end-of-year proof-of-performance reports.
  • Assist in game-day operations and contribute to the overall marketing and fan engagement strategy.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in live event production, game presentation, or sports entertainment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and graphic tools (e.g., Photoshop, After Effects).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for sports, storytelling, and fan engagement.
