The Bowling Green Hot Rods are entering their 17th season in South Central Kentucky. The 2024 South Atlantic League Champion, Bowling Green Hot Rods, look to continue to provide the best family-fun entertainment you can find in South Central Kentucky all year long! The Hot Rods are looking for an eager Promotions Manager to join our staff for the 2025 season. Our goal in this position is to help elevate the Hot Rods brand in Southern Kentucky! This position is seasonal and runs from February to September.
 


  Promotions Manager Job Duties
●      Assist in the development, preparation, coordination, and execution of theme nights throughout the season including in-game scripts and itineraries
●      Book National Anthem performers, Color Guards, and other in-game entertainment as needed
●      Coordinating outside vendors and appearances for theme nights
●      Lead pre-game activations, giveaways and in-game promotions and entertainment
●      Prepare the Run of Show script for each game
●      Oversee the promotions team (The Pit Crew) including hiring and scheduling interns, mascots, and game day staff members
●      Perform as on-field host when necessary
●      Assist in creating grassroots marketing campaign
●      Assist in coordination of community programs such as Roscoe’s Reading Program
●      Represent the Hot Rods at assigned community events and appearances
●      All other duties as assigned

   Desired Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements:
●      Bachelor’s degree is required
●      Previous experience in marketing, promotions or community engagement is required
●      Excellent written and verbal communications skills
●      Must be outgoing and comfortable in front of crowds
●      Must be highly self-motivated 
●      A “can-do” attitude that is willing to put in the work to set a high standard
●      Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
●      Attention to detail and creativity
●      Ability to work all Hot Rods home games and various special events
●      Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
●      Ability to work effectively on an individual basis and within a team framework, handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and achieve objectives.
