Vette City Catering (based at Bowling Green Ballpark) seeks an energetic, highly motivated sales professional to lead and elevate our non-baseball special events. This role is ideal for a driven, self-starting salesperson with a passion for growing business opportunities throughout the year.  Vette City Catering provides all banquet and concession services at the stadium as well as off-site catering.
 
Job Description:
  • Market special event and catering services to business and private groups.
  • Act as primary on-site contact for all non-baseball events. 
  • Manage all events from proposal to execution (including walk-throughs, food and beverage planning, and staffing). 
  • Coordinate premium group food and beverage packages for Hot Rods games.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Team and Hot Rods staff to build brand image and growth opportunities.
  • Represent Vette City Catering and Bowling Green Hot Rods at various promotional and networking events. 
 
Experience:
  • Sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry a strong plus.
  • Restaurant and banquet operations background a strong plus. 
  •  Working familiarity with Microsoft Office.
 
Physical Demands & Working Environment:
  • Required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and early mornings. 
  • Sitting, standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling, or crouching are all part of this position. 
  • Must be able to handle weather-related elements such as rain and heat.
