The Bowling Green Hot Rods are seeking a high-energy, hardworking individual to join our team as the next Director of Ticket Sales. This position will lead a team of three Account Executives and oversee the organization and growth of all season ticket, mini-plan, and group hospitality sales. The Director will also focus on targeted group outreach and prospecting efforts throughout Warren County and the surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities include generating and maintaining season and partial ticket plans for both individuals and businesses, as well as completing group ticket reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis in a timely manner.

Reports to: General Manager & COO  

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a full-service sales executive for the Bowling Green Hot Rods by selling season tickets, mini-plan packages, group tickets, suites, and picnic experiences.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to develop a personal sales plan with clearly defined seasonal goals and objectives.
  • Lead the sales team by overseeing initiatives and conducting weekly and monthly training sessions.
  • Work directly with Account Executives to coach, support, and ensure they meet both individual and departmental sales goals.
  • Produce and manage daily reports tracking sales performance and group ticket goals.
  • Consistently maintain and exceed monthly and annual ticket inventory sales targets.
  • Schedule appointments with key community decision-makers to explore and establish new partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate records and updates in CRM software to track leads, communications, and sales activity.
  • Support ticket operations including payment reconciliation, reporting, database management, and other communications as required.
  • Participate in strategic planning related to ticket sales goals, projections, and objectives.
  • Identify and implement new theme nights, ticket promotions, and fan engagement opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at community events to build relationships and identify new prospects.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients and ticket holders.
  •  Attend and support all home games and non-baseball events throughout the season.
  •  Perform other duties and tasks as assigned during the season.
  
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 2-3 years of sales experience in Minor League Baseball (preferred)
  • Strong Leadership and work ethic
  • Able to train and implement new ideas on a weekly and monthly basis for the sales department
  • Experience with Ticket Return ticket system is preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication & organization skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent, proven cold calling skills
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the season
  • Enthusiastic attitude, good at collaborating with others in a close work environment
