The Bowling Green Hot Rods, the High-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, are seeking a motivated, energetic, and results-driven professional to join our front office team as Corporate Marketing Manager
The Corporate Marketing Manager will play a vital role in driving sponsorship revenue, creating impactful marketing partnerships, and enhancing the organization's presence throughout the region. This position will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, overseeing sponsorship activation, and contributing to the overall revenue growth of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify, and generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and community engagement.
- Build customized marketing solutions that align with client objectives and deliver measurable value. We offer a range of products including traditional ballpark signage and location naming rights, premium hospitality packages, and traditional broadcast advertising
- Manage and grow relationships with existing corporate partners to maximize retention. Conduct regular client meetings to review partnership performance, identify new opportunities, and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Identify new inventory and revenue opportunities to monetize all ballpark and team assets, including various game day promotional themes.
- Lead sponsorship activation efforts and ensure all contractual obligations are fulfilled accurately and on schedule.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the Bowling Green Hot Rods throughout the community. Attend networking functions, chamber events, industry conferences, and community events to strengthen organizational visibility.
- Support game day operations, special events, and promotional initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience demonstrating a success in business-to-business sales and negotiations, including new client acquisition as well as client retention. A background in the sports industry is a plus.
- Strong presentation and communication skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the baseball and event schedule.
- Existing business relationships within South Central Kentucky are a plus.
