Position Overview:  Vette City Catering is seeking to fill the role of Concessions Manager.  The Concessions Manager is responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operation on the main concourse at Bowling Green Ballpark. This position will include, but not limited to, hiring, scheduling, training, ordering, set up, execution, and plan implementation for all events at Bowling Green Ballpark. The Concessions manager will look to provide exceptional customer experience through quality food and customer service.

 Concessions Manager Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily food service operations for Bowling Green Ballpark on the main concourse level including by not limited to; Main concession areas, satellite stands, and special events
  • Hire and staff concessions workers for all Hot Rods home games and special events
  • Responsible for training/on-boarding any new employee. Emphasis on spending the necessary time with each employee to ensure standards are maintained and guest service is upheld.
  • Event administrative duties- staffing matrix, time sheets, inventory control sheets, uniform distribution, and receipts
  • Attending weekly food-service meetings to discuss and prepare for upcoming events
  • Event management of warehouse operations and all warehouse employees. This includes maintaining proper staff levels as well as delivering products to locations in a timely fashion and keeping accurate inventory distribution records
  • Directly responsible for overseeing any prep of food for concessions and portable locations pre-game.
  • Daily pre-game checks and repairs as needed, including stocking levels, radio distribution and inventory control sheets, on all concession and portable equipment to ensure proper sanitation on all portable locations and stands.
  • Compiling purchase and sales information for end of season reports and annual budgets.
  • Keeping an accurate end of month inventory.
  • Assuring that all areas of the food and beverage operation are following local health department codes and regulations.
 
Experience/ Other:
  • Minimum of 2 years in Food and Beverage, at least 1 year in professional baseball preferred. 
  • Must be Highly Motivated and Team Driven!
  • Financial reporting and experience is required. 
  • Strong organizational skills, communication skills, and decision-making skills. 
  • Ability to work long hours, weekends, and all scheduled events at Bowling Green Ballpark. 
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must be able to interact with staff, have the ability to self-manage, and take critique of work.
  • Must be able to lift or move 50lbs
