The Asheville Tourists are looking for an enthusiastic individual to entertain fans as one of our mascots. This position is a part-time, hourly, game day role.
Job Description
- Maintain the integrity of the Mascot
- Perform at Asheville Tourists Home Games
- Sign autographs and take pictures with fans
- Working as a team with our staff to provide mid-inning entertainment for our fans
- Walk around the ballpark interacting with fans
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements
- Flexible Scheduling, including the ability to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
- Moderate athletic fitness
- Must be able to withstand the extreme weather conditions including heat, rain, cold
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to perform in restrictive outfits and impaired vision
- Ideal height for mascot performer would be 5’7-6’3
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Prior Mascot Experience a plus but not required
