Position Overview
The Aberdeen IronBirds are seeking a driven, revenue-focused Box Office Manager to oversee all ticket operations while actively contributing to sales growth. This role manages the full box office operation, serves as the Glitnir expert, and plays a direct, daily role in generating revenue through consistent outbound outreach—including cold calls—to sell group packages, season tickets, mini plans, and single-game hospitality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Box Office & Ticket Operations
- Oversee all box office operations on game and non-game days, ensuring efficient, accurate ticketing processes.
- Serve as the Glitnir subject matter expert—building events, managing manifests, creating pricing structures, and troubleshooting issues.
- Maintain and reconcile all ticketing financials, including daily deposits, attendance reports, and event settlements.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise box office staff to deliver professional and fan-first service.
- Ensure compliance with IronBirds policies, ADA standards, and best practices for ticketing and customer service.
- Revenue Generation & Sales
- Conduct daily outbound sales outreach, including cold calls, emails, and follow-up communication to sell:
- Group outings
- Season tickets
- Mini Plans
- Hospitality areas
- Theme night packages
- Flex plans and single-game upgrades
- Utilize Glitnir reporting and CRM data to identify leads and revenue opportunities.
- Execute dynamic pricing strategies, special offers, and sales promotions to maximize revenue.
- Support major sales initiatives such as renewal campaigns, new plan launches, theme nights, and on-site sale activations.
- Collaborate with leadership to create group sales strategies tied to community events, corporate outreach, and theme programming.
- Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional service across all fan touchpoints—walk-up, phone, online, and email.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally, particularly escalating ticketing matter or access issues.
- Implement processes that improve ease of purchase, gate entry, and overall fan satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant ticket operations/sales experience required.
- 2-3 years of box office, ticket operations, or ticket sales experience with a sports team or live entertainment venue.
- Strong experience in building events, reporting, and inventory management.
- Demonstrated success in outbound sales, cold calling, and revenue generation.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving ability.

Attain Partners, the owner of the Aberdeen IronBirds, is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will be commensurate with experience, education, and skills, ranging between $40,000 - $45,000. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and commission based on achieving certain metrics.
