Video Board and Graphics Producer

- We will expect and push for an extremely high standard of execution and expect someone that is hungry to learn, get better and take constructive feedback.
- You are going to be coached like crazy until trust is earned and proficiency is demonstrated. You’ll work directly with our Creative Team Leaders as well as our Director of Entertainment and Broadcast Executive Producers on every detail of the digital show.
- While our brand, players, and characters are well known, this position is backstage to the ‘glamor and spotlight’.
- The job is demanding. Our growth is rapid and our expectations for serving fans continue to increase. We work nights and weekends and have a rigorous travel schedule.
- Emotions run high. Our team is incredibly invested in creating the Greatest Show in Sports and emotions can flare when things don’t go as planned. We must adapt quickly and move forward with the next best thing for our fans, even when it feels like we failed.

- Someone obsessed with building the greatest show in sports –Always working on their craft, coming up with new ideas and new ways to keep fans entertained. They are never completely satisfied with the show and always know it can be better.
- Someone who is obsessed with learning from outside the sports industry – greatest performers of all time, content producers, greatest shows in the world – Circus, Cirque Du Soleil Comedians, Vegas Shows, Touring Acts, etc.
- Always “Plus” every piece of the show. Someone who is always thinking how to make the show better, from the pregame, the post-game and everything in between, including better in-game moments, better entrances, better celebrations during game, more unique spectacle moments, and every facet of the live show experience.

- Bringing Unique Ideas to live show and executing new ideas daily.
- Conceptualize, create and execute varying elements that uphold and strengthen our brand.
- Ensure on-time delivery for all video projects and content.
- Production liaison between Fans First Entertainment and visiting ballpark staff fulfilling both internal and external production requests.
- Coach all control room crews and direct in-house production to Banana Ball standards.
- Build all scoreboards to match Banana Ball standards.
- Display deep understanding of the three major video board software’s (Daktronics, Motion Rocket, Click Effects).
- Collaborate with teammates to incorporate our best traditions and new ideas in each show you produce.
- Call the show from the technical side of what it takes to execute a Banana Ball game.
- Know and understand what “tools” you have in your toolbox to problem-solve in the moment when something unexpected arises or things inevitably go wrong.
- Reflect on, receive, and provide feedback on live shows, constantly looking for ways to plus the experience and the show.
- Make note of important feedback and actively make adjustments based on that feedback.
- Contribute to regular idea sessions, constantly supplying ideas that plus show elements and the fan experience.
- Collaborate with other teammates and idea-contributors, building on each other’s ideas and working together to create Over The Top ideas and supporting the execution of ideas from others, even if it means we aren’t using your idea.
- Pack and prepare equipment and supplies for all tour and travel events; assisting in truck loads or unloads as needed.
- Treat all equipment, supplies and props with care. Store and organize items in a way that preserves their quality and ensures continued usability wherever possible.
- Assist in set-up and clean-up of spaces we use.
- Be committed to constantly testing and trying new ideas and elements and actively give and seek feedback on those tests.
- Technical Acumen: Utilize knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and the ability to edit and program content for a myriad of venue specifications and multi-channel environments.
- Creativity and Idea Generation: Prioritize creativity and proactive ideation by participating in brainstorming sessions with teammates and dedicating time individually to think of new ideas.
- Adaptability: Display the ability to move fast and adapt in an ever-changing and high-pressure environment.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve problems as they arise, actively seeking solutions and knowing what resources you have available to you.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the entertainment department, Banana Ball teams, and other departments to achieve common goals and ensure production of the Greatest Show.
- Communication and Leadership: Take ownership of effective communication with teammates and make calls with confidence and conviction.
