The Warehouse Manager is responsible for controlling costs by managing warehouse labor, monitoring inventory, and the maintenance and repair of F&B appliances and fixtures. During peak season, the Warehouse Manager will oversee the department responsible for receiving, picking, stocking, general maintenance, and overall department support.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage warehouse staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule warehouse staff at least 2 weeks in advance according to stadium and receiving needs.
  • Oversee receiving operations, checking invoices, entering purchase orders, rotating stock, and reporting inventory.
  • Maintain records of inventory transfers across the stadium.
  • Oversee monthly inventory reports.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of refrigerators, freezers, portable food stands, cooking and hot-holding appliances, draft and co2 systems.
  • Develops training, monitoring, and communication systems in conjunction with Director of Food and Beverage and other department managers.
  • Review current operating procedures and develop, write, and train any necessary new standard operating procedures.
  • Inform appropriate managers of any product spoilage or critically low inventory.
  • Assist staff during event days as needed for F&B operations.
  • Provides safety training for staff; reinforces the use of proper skills and safety practices.
  • Coordinate with stadium operations on necessary work orders.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable material handling and health and safety regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must be comfortable working in Outlook, Word, and Excel, and must be able to learn to utilize payroll/scheduling, inventory, and point of sale systems.
  • Experience maintaining a large inventory, food warehouse experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to organize and provide direction to outside technicians and vendors who are providing services within the food and beverage department.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organization, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with a team and provide direction and motivation to a team.
  • Ability to work independently and ability to navigate high volume orders coming from multiple areas and ensure delivery is timely.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees.
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
  • Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, some college or trade school preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years warehouse experience required. Applicants must be able to accurately conduct inventory counts, must be able to learn ordering systems, and must be able to learn to predict inventory needs.
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred including scheduling, dispatching employees, coaching employees, and training employees.
  • Ability to inspect and identify maintenance needs within units and equipment preferred.
  • Previous experience in large, multiuse entertainment facility preferred.
  • Knowledge of all relevant systems, including but not limited to; Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Refrigeration, Fire protection, Keg/Co2 systems, cooking and hot holding appliances, electrical codes, DPH regulations, and/or OSHA regulations preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50-70 pounds at a time.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, twist, climb, walk up and down stairs, stoop and kneel.
  • Must be able to work in incremental weather.

Compensation:

The expected base pay for this role is $20-$22/hr. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the pay range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following:
