The Sr. Sales Experience Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the success of the membership and sales teams through the planning, coordination, and execution of events, campaigns, and day-to-day operations.

This individual serves as a central connector across the Sacramento River Cats and the Athletics organizations, partnering with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to deliver seamless, high-quality member and prospect experiences.

This is a fast-paced, highly visible role that blends event strategy, sales support, and operational execution to elevate the overall member journey while ensuring the ticketing team is equipped with the tools, materials, and coordination needed to operate efficiently and drive business results.

 

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Execution

  • Lead the planning and execution of all member and prospect events, including on-site and off-site activations (e.g., prospecting events, renewal events, season ticket member events, preseason events).
  • Own the full event lifecycle: conceptualizing, timelines, stakeholder alignment, execution, and post-event analysis.
  • Own budget planning and oversight for all membership and sales events and experiences, ensuring strategic allocation of resources and measurable ROI.
  • Partner with Membership Experience, Marketing, and Premium teams to ensure events drive engagement, retention, and revenue outcomes.
  • Coordinate player, alumni, and influencer appearances to enhance event value and overall experience.

Sales Enablement & Operations

  • Manage and continuously improve sales collateral, including proposals, presentations, templates, and promotional materials.
  • Oversee merchandise and giveaway inventory related to sales and service initiatives and events, ensuring alignment with campaigns and departmental needs.
  • Support sales representatives with materials and logistics to help drive new business and retention efforts.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as a key liaison across the River Cats, Athletics, and Kings organizations, ensuring alignment on shared initiatives and experiences.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on creative assets, campaign execution, and communication strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute high-quality experiences and maintain operational efficiency.

Campaign & Communication Management

  • Build and manage communication timelines for sales campaigns, events, and touchpoints (calls, emails, text).
  • Support strategies to increase engagement and attendance across events and initiatives.

Data, Reporting & Process Optimization

  • Track and report on event performance, engagement metrics, and sales support initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, member engagement, and campaign outcomes.
  • Prepare and distribute daily and weekly sales reporting to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and overall sales efficiency.

Team Leadership & Support

  • Lead and mentor seasonal interns and support staff, ensuring high standards of execution.
  • Assist sales leadership with administrative coordination, scheduling, and operational support.
  • Contribute to a high-performance, team-first culture across the sales and service organization.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–2+ years of experience in sports sales, sports sales support, or sports event coordination.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data tracking; experience with Salesforce or CRM platforms preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in event planning, logistics, or experiential marketing strongly preferred.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer experience principles.

 

Compensation

This position is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role with an expected annual base pay of $19.00 - $22.00. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the compensation range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following:
