As the first and last impression at Sutter Health Park, our Parking Attendants are an integral part of creating an exceptional guest experience. Your observation and communication skills will help to ensure our guests are arriving and departing the ballpark as safely as possible. You and your teammates will deliver on our mission to always put the guest first and to be the nation’s leading minor league sports organization, providing a clean, safe, fun, and family-friendly venue that allows fans and players alike to enjoy America’s favorite pastime!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a smile and welcoming attitude – parking staff are the first point of contact for our guests.
- Direct pedestrians on where to walk from the parking lots to the ballpark.
- Answer questions related to parking, directions, stadium entry policies, and other common questions.
- Drive golf carts to shuttle guests/employees to and from the parking lots. Occasionally shuttling media staff to and from the ballpark.
- Drive shuttle vans to and from our employee parking lot (for A’s games only).
- Set up and operate bike valet service for guests/employees – ensuring all bicycles are secure and attended to.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Demonstrated ability to provide direction and follow and enforce safety rules in a proactive and positive manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate positively and clearly with guests and coworkers.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including mostly evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Typical shift lengths are between 6-8 hours with prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, and stooping.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time with or without accommodation.
- Must be able to work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions.
Compensation
This position is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt role with an expected pay of $16.90/hr.
