Job Summary
The Merchandise Associate is a fan-facing, customer-service–driven role responsible for delivering an exceptional retail experience at Sutter Health Park. As part of the Sacramento River Cats game-day team, Merchandise Associates support team brand visibility, drive merchandise sales, and enhance the overall fan experience through friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging service. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with fans, working in a fast-paced environment, and contributing to the excitement of River Cats baseball.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage fans on the sales floor with friendly, authentic service and product knowledge.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor by recovering merchandise and following retail best practices.
- Support stockroom efficiency by organizing inventory, pulling stock, sorting, counting, and labeling merchandise.
- Assist with team store operations, including locating items, processing transactions at the register, and visual merchandising.
- Assist with the setup and converting of the main team store and all kiosk locations between Athletics and River Cats/Giants merchandise.

- Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Availability on weekends, evenings, holidays, and during special events.
Compensation
This position is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt role with an expected pay of $16.90/hr.
