The Corporate Partnerships Intern supports the fulfillment and activation of partnership agreements for the Sacramento River Cats. This role is responsible for assisting in the accurate, timely, and creative delivery of partner benefits to ensure maximum satisfaction and ROI for corporate partners.

From in-game activations and signage audits to event support and community initiatives, the Corporate Partnerships Intern will gain hands-on experience in partnership activation, client services, and cross-department collaboration. The role also includes contributing to prospect research and supporting the development of sales opportunities.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist with the activation of sponsored elements in-game, online, and at community events.
• Audit ballpark signage and digital assets to ensure accuracy and proper placement.
• Support clients with setup and execution of partnership-related events.
• Monitor and manage game-day partnership activities to ensure all elements are fulfilled.
• Collaborate with departments such as Promotions, Marketing, Operations, Guest Services, and Entertainment to ensure partner messaging is executed effectively.
• Assist with research and lead qualification for potential partnership opportunities.
• Provide administrative support including tracking deliverables, timelines, and client communications.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Sports Management, Hospitality & Tourism, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Availability to work up to 25 hours per week, including nights, weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong interpersonal ability.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team on projects from concept to completion.
• General knowledge of baseball and baseball terminology preferred.

Compensation

This internship is a part-time, hourly role with a base rate of $16.90/hour.
