The Sacramento River Cats are proud to introduce the Catalyst Program — a first-of-its-kind, 12-month, full-time Career Acceleration Training experience designed to fast-track your career in the sports industry. As an Account Executive, you’ll be part of an elite class of early-career professionals gaining real-world experience, hands-on coaching, and access to the most advanced sales tools in the industry.
This isn’t just a job — it’s a launchpad.
You’ll sell ticket inventory for both the Sacramento River Cats and Major League Baseball’s Athletics at Sutter Health Park, gaining exposure to both minor and major league operations. You’ll also benefit from the resources and mentorship of the Sacramento Kings, one of the NBA’s most respected sales organizations.

What You’ll Do
- Sell a full menu of ticket products for the River Cats and Athletics, including memberships, premium seating, suites, and group packages.
- Participate in weekly training sessions, one-on-one coaching, and real-time feedback with your Catalyst Manager and veteran sales mentors, including exposure to Sacramento Kings sales leadership.
- Learn to deliver unreasonable hospitality — providing personalized, above-and-beyond service tailored to each customer’s unique needs.
- Use cutting-edge sales technology, including AI-powered prospecting and engagement tools, Salesforce CRM system, and video-based outreach platforms.
- Represent the River Cats and Athletics at games, events, and meetings to build relationships and generate new business.
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals while contributing to a high-performing team culture.
What We’re Looking For
Skills & Traits
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for sports and a desire to build a career in the industry.
- Comfortable using the phone, technology and open to learning new tools.
- Team player with a positive attitude and growth mindset.
Experience & Education
- Previous sales, customer service, or hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the game and event schedule.

Compensation & Perks
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role with an expected annual base pay of $35,360 plus overtime, bonus and commissions. Final offers will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors such as location are considered when determining the salary offered.
