Overview:
As a successful Recruiting Coach for our Exclusive College Recruiting Program, you will serve as the main point of contact for approximately 75 to 100 Exclusive players.  This position has a strong emphasis on building relationships with parents, High School and travel ball players and college coaches.   Candidates will need to know the landscape of college softball (Division I, II, III, NAIA, JUCO) and willing to build strong relationships with college coaches as well as a working knowledge of the recruiting calendar and rules for each division.  This is a remote position, but some travel will be required.  
 
Responsibilities:
·         Develop a pattern of consistent communication via phone call/Zoom/email/text/etc. on a regular basis with parents and players in the Exclusive Program.
·         Maintain communication records of all correspondence with all parents and players.  
·         Maintain communication records with colleges you have contacted on behalf of each player.
·         Review "in-game" videos and select the best clips for college promotion. Work closely with Lead Videographer to help produce video highlight footage that spotlights the players strengths for their player recruiting page.
·         Help players select colleges that best match up with their skill level, geographical areas, financial capability, and academic interest.
·         Work closely with the Director of Softball to ensure we are assessing, matching, and recommending players accordingly.
·         Build relationships with college coaches and keep track of their roster needs. 
·         Utilize our current network of college coaches to help in placing players in schools that match their criteria.
·         Be an active member of the NFCA and attend the national Convention to network and build relationships.
·         Post Exclusive player videos on social media channels and work with the Director of social media to make sure posts and clips are aggressive and consistent by current standards. 
·         Be available to travel for identified National Showcases and Player Development events to represent and promote the Exclusive Program and help promote the players attending.
·         Work closely with Academic Advisor to help make sure players are receiving the academic advice necessary for them to prepare for college testing and classwork. For Seniors helping to make sure they receive assistance with college applications.
·         Work with Academic Advisor to assist seniors with applications for financial assistance.
·         The desire and ability to work together with the entire Ripken Softball Factory team for the betterment of the sport, the growth of our division, and the players in our program.
·         Other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
Required:
·         Bachelor’s Degree
·         3+ years of working with youth, parents, and coaches.  
·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
·         Strong verbal and written communication skills.
·         Ability to communicate with staff and prepare written reports.
 
Preferred:
·         Minimum of 3+ years college coaching and/or experience.
·         A working knowledge of the NCAA, NAIA, NCCSA and JUCO rules and recruiting trends.
