Overview:
The Marketing Manager will manage the marketing department in daily execution of marketing strategy, content, fulfillment, client management, and analytics. The role works closely with cross-functional departments including, but not limited to sales, operations, finance, partnerships, merchandise and business development.  This is a remote position that will require up to 15% travel.   
 
Responsibilities:
Manage, create, edit, and maintain marketing content, including, but not limited to:
  •  Primary
    • Email (Templates, Automations & Campaigns)
    • Company Websites 
    • Shared Marketing Calendar
  •   Secondary
    •  Short & long-form written content (press releases, articles)
    • Marketing materials & customer-facing documents 
    • Signage 
    • Graphics (social, web)

  • Assist with the strategy, execution and management of Ripken Baseball’s external marketing partners/vendors including, but not limited to:
  • Social Media, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Paid Digital
  • Additional Vendors – Technology, Registration, Merchandise, Awards
  •  Lead the planning, development, and execution of product launches for a variety of businesses (programming, events, e-commerce, partnerships) 
  • Support ideation, execution and fulfillment of partnership marketing deliverables across multiple distribution channels 
  • Ability to manage employees & lead others toward common goal 
  • Support brand control through usage, consistency, and messaging
  • Travel to locations, conferences, and corporate office when required

 
Qualifications
 
Required: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 of marketing experience
  • Aptitude to develop and learn new skills
  • Ability to manage projects independently and work in fast-paced environment 
  • Effective communication & collaboration with teammates 
  • Approach tasks with creative eye and analytical mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
 
Preferred:
  • CMS / Web Content Management Experience (Wordpress)
  • Email Marketing & Marketing Automation Experience
  • Copywriting
  • Adobe Suite Experience (Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Basic HTML / CSS Experience
