Overview:
As a successful Concierge Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with our state-of-the-art tailgate suites during our summer week-long events at the Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge, TN. We will be happy to work with your school to help you get the required college credits for your successful completion of the program. The internship will run from mid May 2024 – mid August 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Work under a full-time staff member in assisting with all tailgate suite reservations during our Week-Long Experiences.
- Serve as on-site liaison for all tailgate suite reservations.
- Prepare, maintain, and organize tailgate suite supplies.
- Perform all pre-game, in-game, and post-game duties associated to suites (i.e., trash removal, suite monitoring, food & beverage needs, etc.).
- Ability to problem solve under pressure.
- Convey and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
- Provide extraordinary external and internal customer service.
- Assist with team registration, opening ceremonies, and skills competitions each Sunday.
- Execute basic cleaning duties which include but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning & stocking restrooms, cleaning windows and picking up trash.
- Work with staff to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently while providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience for participants.
- Absorb training and demonstrate the initiative, desire, and drive to help uphold the values established by the Ripken name and brand.
Qualifications:
- College student seeking credit or recent college graduate seeking work experience.
- Required to work flexible schedule on the needs of the business.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Good verbal and communication skills.
- Positive and effective leadership and customer service skills.
