As a successful All-Ripken Games Coach, you will instruct, motivate, organize, and manage a team during the All-Ripken Games events. These events will be played during August 18-21 of 2025. 

 

Diamond Nation is a state-of-the-art sports complex located in New Jersey. Diamond Nation specializes in youth baseball tournaments bringing teammates, coaches, and families together through our Big-League Experiences. We are committed to maintaining the values and experience gained from playing the game, while making sure there's a whole lot of fun along the way. 

·         Lead a team in the All-Ripken Games, teaching kids ages 7-13 the fundamentals of baseball, the Ripken Way

·         Manage a team through the All-Ripken Games tournament by organizing a lineup and substitutions

·         Learn how to operate the best baseball evaluations/practices in the nation, from those who have created and implemented the standards and practices 

·         Create a fun, dynamic atmosphere for participants, developing camaraderie and acting as a positive role model

·         Uphold the values and brand standards established by Ripken Baseball

·         Operate instructional stations and evaluations (including hitting, pitching, and fielding)

·         Observe and evaluate player performance

·         Gain knowledge of and training in management, coaching, and working independently when assisting with event operations

·         Aid in setting up and breaking down baseball equipment at the start or end of each day as needed

·         Assist partner brand and agency representatives in setting up and breaking down event production equipment and promotional items

·         Maintain a high level of professionalism while providing extraordinary customer service

·         Be considered to work other Ripken Baseball events at the conclusion of the event, based on performance

·         Past baseball or softball experience with a strong understanding of fundamentals; interest in coaching

·         Prior customer service experience

·         Prior coaching experience

·         Prior experience working with children, exhibiting the ability to be patient and understanding 

·         An outgoing, friendly personality, initiative, and high level of energy

·         Ability and willingness to physically perform all job responsibilities

·         Regular lifting of heavy items of 20 pounds or more

·         Exposure to extreme heat or cold
