This position runs during the REX Baseball season (Last week of May – 2nd week of August).

REX Baseball is a collegiate summer wood-bat team based in Terre Haute, IN and a member of the Prospect League. Founded in 2010, the organization has captured two Prospect League Championships (2015 & 2018). REX Baseball is committed to providing hands-on experience for individuals pursuing careers in the sports industry, with a strong track record of developing talent. Former staff members have gone on to work in professional sports organizations across the NFL, NBA, MLB, MiLB, PGA, UFC, and more. The Ticket Sales & Operations Coordinator will oversee all ticket sales procedures and daily operations of the ticketing department. This individual will be responsible for managing the Box Office on game days while leading all ticket sales efforts, reporting, and operational processes on non-game days. This role plays a critical part in driving revenue, enhancing the fan experience, and ensuring efficient ticketing operations across all events.

Qualifications/Requirements
  •  Must be able to work all home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays 
  •  Strong communication and customer service skills 
  •  Ability to manage and lead Box Office operations in a fast-paced environment 
  •  Experience in sales, ticketing systems, or customer service preferred 
  •  Strong organizational skills with attention to detail 
  •  Ability to handle high-pressure situations and troubleshoot issues effectively 
  •  Self-motivated with the ability to work independently on non-game days

Ticket Sales & Operations Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  •  Oversee all ticket sales strategies, including individual, group, and promotional sales 
  •  Manage daily operations of the ticketing department 
  •  Serve as Box Office Manager on all game days 
  •  Handle all in-person, online, email and phone ticket sales 
  •  Maintain accurate ticket inventory, reporting, and financial reconciliation 
  •  Develop and execute sales initiatives to increase attendance and revenue 
  •  Provide exceptional customer service and resolve ticketing issues promptly 
  •  Coordinate with marketing and operations staff to execute ticket promotions and theme nights 
  •  Train and supervise ticketing staff and interns 
  •  Assist with pre-game and post-game Box Office setup, operations, and closing procedures 
  •  Support group outings, special events, and large-scale ticket packages 
  •  Assist in other areas of operations as needed
