The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes, a collegiate wood-bat summer league baseball team
in Springfield, Illinois, is looking to hire a Clubhouse Manager for the upcoming 2024
Prospect League Season.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Inventory & Distribution
o Uniforms
o Equipment
o Clubhouse Supplies
o Snacks/Food
· Maintain a professional and clean clubhouse environment for all personnel
(vacuuming clubhouse, cleaning bathrooms, lockers, kitchen area, office area, dugouts,
dugout tunnels, batting cage, proper disposal of all trash)
· Help maintain clubhouse expense budgets with proper use and distribution of
products and maintaining clubhouse equipment to prevent damage
· Laundry (uniforms, personals, towels, staff needs, etc.)
· Pre-game setup of Water & Powerade coolers in each teams’ dugout
· Oversee daily player / coach ticket pass lists and coordinate information with box
office personnel
· Setup Visiting Clubhouse for opposing teams
· Coordinate and set up post-game meal spread with chafing dishes and
professional catering equipment.
· Ensure security of stadium upon departure after home games
· Provide game balls / bags for umpires
· Replenish equipment/material as needed to dugouts
· Follow cleaning and sanitation checklists to ensure a safe and clean environment
for all players and staff
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· The ideal candidate must be able to work ALL Home Games and be able to work
long hours. Strong work ethic and take pride in the team and presentation.
· Candidates must have their own housing and transportation available to them.
