🎟️ Director of Hustle
Springfield Lucky Horseshoes | Springfield, IL
Full-Time | In-Person | Reports to Ownership Group
🔥 About the Role:
The Director of Hustle is the spark plug of the Springfield Lucky Horseshoes' front office — leading the charge on all things revenue. This person lives at the intersection of ticket sales, partnership development, fan engagement, and baseball operations, always with one goal in mind: get butts in seats and smiles on faces.
This is a high-energy, relationship-driven, results-focused role for someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves, shake a thousand hands, and make big ideas happen. You’ll wear a lot of hats (probably some helmets too), and every day will look a little different — just the way we like it.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Sell, sell, sell: Drive group outings, ticket packages, and special events — from schools and youth groups to corporate nights and family reunions.
  • Business development: Build and nurture revenue-generating relationships with community partners, sponsors, and local businesses.
  • Game day leadership: Own the fan experience, promotions, and ticketing operations with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable moments.
  • Collaborate with baseball ops: Align on scheduling, logistics, and community activations.
  • Campaigns & creativity: Brainstorm and execute creative promotions, outreach efforts, and sales initiatives that make people say, “Wait, what are the ‘Shoes doing now!?”
  • Data & reporting: Track revenue, attendance, and other KPIs — and actually use that info to get better.
🧠 You Might Be a Fit If:
  • You’ve worked in sports, entertainment, ticketing, or partnership sales and loved it.
  • You’re a natural hustler (the good kind): self-motivated, energetic, and outcome-obsessed.
  • You can talk to anyone — from little league parents to CEOs — and leave a great impression.
  • You like solving problems, wearing multiple hats, and making things better every time.
  • You’re not afraid of long hours, loud music, theme nights, or walking 10,000 steps on a game day.
  • You know your way around CRM/sales tools, ticketing software, and spreadsheets.
💥 Bonus Points For:
  • Previous experience in collegiate summer league baseball or community-based sports
  • A killer idea for a promo night we haven’t done yet
  • Knowing how to fire up a t-shirt cannon
👟 About Us:
