Position Overview: The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are seeking a dedicated and skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team for the upcoming season (late May to early August). This position will work closely with the players and coaches to ensure the health and safety of all athletes throughout the season. 

Qualifications: 

-        Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training 

-        Must be certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) through the Board of Certification (BOC)

-        Current Illinois Athletic Trainer License required

-        CPR and First Aid certification (must be current)

-        Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Experience: 

-        Experience working with baseball or other team sports

-        Experience with emergency procedures and injury management during games

Working Conditions: 

-        Hours will vary depending on the team schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays
