The Prospect League, a premier wood bat summer college baseball league, seeks a 2026 Seasonal Player Personnel and Compliance Intern for approximately 12 weeks from mid-May to mid-August (start dates contingent on availability).
This quality educational and professional experience provides diverse sports management opportunities that will help the successful candidate in the pursuit of a sports business career. The position is part-time (approximately 15-20 hours per week). Dedicated hours, including nights and weekends, are expected for motivated candidates. The League staff will work with the successful candidate to structure scheduled hours. A stipend will be paid upon completion, and college course credit may also be arranged.
Under the direction of the League Commissioner, Director of Technology and Operations, and Manager of Digital and Strategic Content, the intern’s duties will include involvement in, but not limited to:
- Monitor the status of registered players on the league’s registration platform (League Apps)
- Meticulously ensure that all eligible registered players are inputted on the league’s official website rosters on a daily basis
- Track all transactions to maintain the integrity of league rules regarding rosters and player eligibility
The intern will work remotely with no required travel.
