Job Description:
The O'Fallon Hoots will play their second season in O'Fallon, Mo. in 2022 at CarShield Field. CarShield Field has served as the host site for our Prospect League O'Fallon Hoots team, our very own 4-team house league, the CarShield Collegiate League, and special events like the 2021 MLB Alumni Home Run Derby. We are looking for the next superstar in marketing and promotions for our Mascot Summer 2022 internship.

What you'll be doing/learning:
  • Taking on the role of "Hooty" at all home games and community events throughout the summer 2022 season
  • Taking and following direction from Director of Fan Engagement
  • Meeting and greeting fans prior to, during, and after events
  • Maintaining costume cleanliness and well-being
  • Creating a fun and exciting experience for fans at every game and event

Required/desired skills:
  • Ability to work all 30 home games and potential playoff games, plus select team appearances and community events during 2022 season
  • Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
  • Must be an energetic individual who works well with others and can engage with fans of all ages
  • Must be in healthy physical condition to wear a multi-layer costume and perform for extended periods of time

Our Summer interns begin in May.
This is an unpaid internship. Applicants should pursue college credit from their college or university.
