As an Usher, you serve as both a guest services ambassador and the traffic control of Thrillville—guiding fans to their seats, helping keep the ballpark organized and safe, and ensuring that every guest enjoys their time at the park.

This position reports to the Director of Entertainment & Promotions and plays a key role in delivering a first-class fan experience during Thrillbillies games and other events at Mtn Dew Park.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and acknowledge guests as they enter the ballpark.
- Operate ticket scanners at stadium entry points.
- Assist guests in locating their assigned seats by checking tickets.
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming seating area by wiping seats and collecting trash before, during, and after games.
- Keep aisles clear and assist with crowd flow throughout the ballpark.
- Provide friendly assistance and answer questions about the stadium, seating, and event activities.
- Maintain awareness and assist guests during emergency, medical, or evacuation situations if necessary.
- Support other operational needs as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong public relations skills.
- Excellent communication and guest service abilities.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work a significant number of Thrillbillies home games and other events at Mtn Dew Park.
- Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and walk long distances.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to climb stairs and remain active for the duration of events.
Usher Team Assignments
During events, ushers may rotate between several important guest service roles throughout the ballpark.
Fan Assistance Center
- Provide information about seating, stadium services, and event activities.
- Answer guest questions and assist with directions throughout the venue.
- Help ensure every fan has a positive and enjoyable experience.
618 Taphouse Line Drive Game Attendant
- Monitor the 618 Taphouse Line Drive area to ensure all participants under 18 are accompanied by an adult.
- Maintain a safe and organized environment for participants.
Ticket Scanner
- Scan tickets at the main gates or suite entrances.
- Assist with guest entry and crowd flow.
- Help distribute promotional items and giveaways when needed.
Suite Usher
- Greet suite ticket holders upon arrival.
- Escort guests to their suites and unlock suites for authorized ticket holders.
- Monitor the suite level to ensure only authorized guests have access.
