As a Box Office & Ticket Sales Intern with the Thrillville Thrillbillies, you’ll help connect fans to the experiences they can’t wait to be part of. From season ticket sales to group outings and special events, you’ll play a key role in delivering the first and most important moment of every fan’s night, getting their ticket to the thrill.
You’ll work alongside our Box Office Manager and sales team to learn the ins and outs of customer service, ticketing systems, and fan engagement. It’s a fast-paced, people-first environment where no two days are the same, and every call, sale, or smile makes an impact.
If you’re outgoing, organized, and passionate about sports and events, this internship is your chance to build real-world experience in the business side of baseball, where every seat sold tells a story.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in prospecting and contacting potential season ticket, group, and suite clients.
- Support day-to-day box office operations, including ticket sales, order fulfillment, and CRM data management.
- Build and maintain relationships with current season ticket holders and fans.
- Help manage and update records within the eTix ticketing system.
- Assist in outbound group sales outreach and distribution of sales materials.
- Work with the Group Sales Department on setup and management of group and picnic areas.
- Provide excellent customer service — whether on the phone, at the window, or in the stands.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure a smooth game-day experience.
What You’ll Need

- Comfort speaking with fans, sponsors, and business clients in a professional yet friendly manner.

- Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus, but not required.
The Details
- Stipend: $600/month
- Schedule: Full-time during the summer season, including all home games and major events at Mtn Dew Park.
- Location: Mtn Dew Park — Marion, Illinois
- Days Off: Scheduled to maintain work-life balance throughout the season.
This role offers an inside look at the business operations of a professional sports organization, from sales strategy to fan experience. You’ll develop valuable skills in relationship-building, communication, and event coordination, all while being part of one of the most entertaining teams in the Prospect League.
