About the Role
The Thrillville Street Team is the heartbeat of game-day energy and community engagement for the Thrillville Thrillbillies.
Formerly known as the Thrillettes, this newly reimagined team takes fan interaction to the next level. Members of the Thrillville Street Team help bring the excitement of Thrillville directly to fans—both at Mtn Dew Park and throughout the Southern Illinois community.
From leading on-field promotions and energizing the crowd to representing the team at community events, the Street Team plays a vital role in growing the Thrillbillies brand and creating unforgettable experiences for fans of all ages.

This position reports to the Director of Entertainment & Promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the Thrillville Thrillbillies at community events throughout Southern Illinois.
- Assist with the setup and execution of on-field promotions and in-game entertainment during Thrillbillies home games.
- Select and coordinate contestants for fan participation games and promotions.
- Lead crowd engagement activities including t-shirt tosses, fan contests, and dugout performances.
- Assist the team mascot at both ballpark and community appearances.
- Welcome fans as they arrive and help create an exciting and welcoming ballpark atmosphere.
- Support game-day elements such as giveaway distribution, national anthem ceremonies, first pitches, Field of Dreams teams, Kids Run the Bases, and other fan experiences.
- Distribute promotional materials at community events to increase awareness and attendance for Thrillbillies games.
- Represent the Thrillville brand in a fun, professional, and enthusiastic manner at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Entertainment & Promotions Department.
Qualifications & Skills
- Highly energetic and outgoing personality with a passion for engaging with fans.
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Background in dance, cheer, performance, or entertainment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform comfortably in front of crowds and create excitement in a live event setting.
- Strong situational awareness and ability to respond quickly and professionally in dynamic environments.
- Reliable transportation to attend games, events, and appearances.
- Passion for baseball and live sports entertainment is a plus.
- A positive attitude and the ability to bring energy and fun to every event.
Work Environment
This role operates in a fast-paced sports and entertainment environment both at Mtn Dew Park and at community events across Southern Illinois.
Street Team members should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions while interacting with large crowds and maintaining high energy throughout events.
Some travel to local community events may be required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs.
- Ability to remain active and energetic throughout events and game-day promotions.
Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time, seasonal position.
Street Team members must be available to work:
- Thrillbillies home games during the baseball season
- Evenings, weekends, and select holidays
- Community appearances and promotional events throughout the region
