About the Role
At Mtn Dew Park, the Thrillville experience extends beyond the field and into our premium hospitality areas. Suite Servers play an important role in creating a first-class experience for guests enjoying the game from our VIP suites.
The Thrillville Thrillbillies are seeking attentive and guest-focused Suite Servers who take pride in delivering exceptional service. From greeting guests to ensuring food and beverages are delivered efficiently, this role helps make every suite visit comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable.
Suite Servers combine hospitality, organization, and attention to detail to ensure that VIP guests can relax, enjoy the game, and fully experience everything Thrillville has to offer.
This position reports to the Food & Beverage Department and supports premium hospitality service during Thrillbillies games and other events hosted at Mtn Dew Park.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide food and beverage service to guests in VIP suites during games and events.
- Greet suite guests in a friendly and professional manner and ensure their needs are met throughout the event.
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within suite areas, including tables, counters, and service spaces.
- Monitor food and beverage levels and restock items as needed during events.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and event staff to ensure efficient service.
- Process payments and handle transactions when required.
- Follow all health, safety, and food service regulations.
- Respond promptly to guest requests to maintain a high-quality hospitality experience.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide professional and attentive service in a VIP or premium hospitality environment.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced event setting.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service practices.
- Ability to process cash or card payments when required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate with other staff members.
Work Environment
Suite Servers work in a premium hospitality setting within Mtn Dew Park, serving guests during Thrillbillies games, concerts, and special events.
The role requires frequent interaction with guests in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Staff should be comfortable working in a lively stadium atmosphere with moderate noise levels and large crowds.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
- Ability to lift and carry trays, food, beverages, and service items (typically up to 25–30 pounds).
- Frequent bending, reaching, and carrying while serving guests.
- Ability to navigate stairs and crowded areas within the stadium.
- Manual dexterity required for handling trays, food service items, and payment devices.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail while working in a busy environment.
Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time, seasonal position.
Suite Servers must be available to work:
- Thrillbillies home games throughout the baseball season
- Evenings, weekends, and select holidays
- Special events hosted at Mtn Dew Park
Staff may be required to arrive up to two hours prior to game time for preparation and suite setup.
