The Lafayette (IN) Aviators (www.lafayettebaseball.com) are a summer collegiate baseball team in the Prospect League (www.prospectleague.com) which provides collegiate players the opportunity to play competitively in a wood-bat league during the summer months in front of professional scouts, while also providing the local community with an affordable summer entertainment destination everyone can enjoy.  
 
The Aviators play in a beautiful new facility featuring indoor and outdoor suites, VIP areas, gift shop, videoboard and 2,000 chairback box seats.  The Aviators routinely average more than 1,400 fans per game.

The Aviators organization is seeking interns for the May - August (may extend into August based on playoffs) time period to assist with ticket sales initiatives and community outreach.
 
During off days, each intern will be trained in all aspects of benefit selling including prospecting, overcoming objections and closing as well as becoming well versed on the Aviators ticketing system. During game days, interns will learn how to operate the box office and ticket gate for each game of our 30 home game season. 
 
This internship is available for college-level students, both undergrad and graduate, who are looking for a PAID/UNPAID summer internship with the opportunity to make COMMINISION off of ticket sale packages.  The position begins in May 2024 (date tbd) and concludes August 2024 (date tbd).  It is expected that each intern will be on-site in Lafayette between 20 – 30 per week during their internship.
