Marketing / Multiple Media Platform Internship
- Develop, coordinate and help sell promotional events via direct contact with businesses and individuals on multiple
social media platforms
- Develop stadium events which enhance the team’s presence in the community
- Solicit sponsors and coordinate their requests with actual stadium promotional events
- Create and distribute general marketing posts across multiple media platforms
- Observe current team marketing methods and recommend updates in keeping with current available
marketing methods
- Create individualized plans for in-season business and family outings at the ballpark
JOB DESCRIPTION
As an intern with the Burlington Bees, you will be an active part of the many facets of the marketing, promoting and group sales for a college summer baseball organization. Primary responsibilities include developing and coordinating promotions, providing first-rate customer service, marketing the team in the area, and looking for ways to improve our operations.
The Marketing intern reports directly to the General Manager.
START DATE
Start in mid-March and end the last week of May. (start and finish dates are flexible).
HOURS
Full time, 9 AM-4 PM, Monday through Friday. Expect to work some weekends and special events.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Housing is provided in the home of a Bees’ host family at no cost to the student.
There is a $150 per month stipend.

Currently enrolled in a college or university marketing program, or similar major.
Ability to work with a diverse team in a close environment.
