HOSPITALITY/MARKETING FOR GROUP OUTINGS
- Develop, coordinate and execute group outing events 
- Ensure all group outing areas are prepared and stocked each day per contract
- Greet and ensure each group feels welcome and is attended to at the ballpark
- Document group’s event and post on social media as allowed
- Follow up with groups post-event to review their experience
   Assist Marketing/Multimedia and Ticketing Team to:
 - Develop stadium events which enhance the team’s presence in the community
- Solicit sponsors and coordinate their requests with actual stadium promotional events
 - Create and distribute general marketing posts across multiple media platforms
- Use multiple platforms to present games, and in-game events, as they happen 
- Observe current team marketing methods and recommend updates in keeping with current available       
   marketing methods  
- Cooperate with broadcast personnel to recognize groups on game days and develop marketing video/audio             presentations
- Assist with group ticket sales and distribution

JOB DESCRIPTION 
 As an intern with the Burlington Bees, you will be an active part of the many facets of the operation, promoting and marketing a college summer baseball organization. Primary responsibilities include developing, marketing, hosting and coordinating group outings. The hospitality intern will provide first-rate customer service for each group, maintain an atmosphere that is fan-friendly, help market the team in the area, and look for ways to improve our operations. 
The Hospitality/Marketing intern reports directly to the General Manager.
 
 START DATE
 Start in mid-May and end first week of August 2026 (start and finish dates are flexible).
 
 HOURS
 Full time. Non-game day during season 9 AM-5 PM, game days 9am through end of game. Expect to work weekends and special events.
 
 COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
 Your housing and all utilities are paid for. Housing is provided in Southeastern Community College’s Millennial Hall resident apartments.  The apartment includes, pass key security, full size kitchen, internet connection and cable readiness.  These are two bedroom, four bed units. The team provides a meal each home game. 
There is a $150 per month stipend.

QUALIFICATIONS 
Currently enrolled in a college or university hospitality, marketing program, or similar major.
Ability to work in a fast-paced gameday environment.
Ability to work with a diverse team and clientele.

Must have excellent writing, computer skills and a willingness to work long hours and weekends.
