GROUNDSKEEPING INTERNSHIP 
 - Assist Head Groundskeeper in the following areas:

-          Mowing

-          Stadium and Grounds Landscaping Maintenance

-          Facility Maintenance

-          Equipment Maintenance

-          Proper Storage of Supplies and Tools

-          General Playing Field Maintenance

-          Gameday Field Preparation

-          In-game Field Maintenance

JOB DESCRIPTION 
 The groundskeeping intern reports directly to the Assistant General Manager. Successful interns will use their experience and knowledge to prepare and maintain a high quality, safe and aesthetically pleasing playing surface.  They will prepare and present a pleasant, groomed stadium and grounds, which enhances our fans’ experience.

 START DATE
 Start in mid-May and end the first week of August (start and finish dates are flexible).
 
 HOURS
 Full time. Non-game day during season 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, game days 8:30 AM through end of game or after event. Expect to work weekends and special events.
 
 COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Your housing and all utilities are paid for. Housing is provided in Southeastern Community College’s Millennial Hall resident apartments.  The apartment includes pass key security, full size kitchen, internet connection and cable readiness.  These are two bedroom, four bed units. The team provides a free meal each home game. 

There is a $200 per month stipend.

QUALIFICATIONS 
Prefer a candidate who is pursuing a degree in a Turf Management or related field of study. We’re looking for talented, self-motivated individuals who want to apply their knowledge, passion, and skills to our efforts. The physical demands described here are representative of those which must be met by an intern candidate to successfully complete the goals and purpose of the internship.
