LakePoint is seeking individuals who want to play a key role in providing an excellent guest experience through our Facilities Department.  This position is a seasonal position with potential of performing in different areas of the facilities department throughout the park. As part of the team you will engage in duties as a field maintenance team member, janitorial duties, event setup/break down, and/or maintenance as assigned by your supervisor and/or manager.

 

·        Must be able to work weekdays, 8am-5pm. 

·        Must have a valid Georgia Driver’s License. 

·        Must be able to follow all policies and procedures.  

·        Excellent mathematical, multitasking, and computer skills

·        Experience operating small to med grounds crew equipment, rake, shovel, leaf blower, weed eater, pressure washing machine, etc.

·        Administrative duties

·        Cleaning debris from grounds, synthetic turf, dug outs, outdoor seating, parking area, etc.

·        Maintaining synthetic turf on baseball and slax fields, maintain sand volleyball court

·        Working as a team with other staff members and assist with administrative tasks as needed

·        Making sure policies and procedures are implemented with staff

·        Assisting with event set up and break down

·        Assisting with securing equipment

·        Follow, practice, and enforce all safety and regulatory standards in the fie

·        Be able to work cooperatively and lead in a group setting and by oneself with limited supervision to complete the assigned task(s).

·        Provide quality customer service to park and facility

·        Follow verbal and written instructions from superiors and ensures the timely and quality completion of those assigned tasks.

Most work takes place in an outdoor setting in a variety of weather conditions while standing, walking, bending, and lifting for long periods of time. Employee may operate a variety of small and medium equipment on a regular basis. The operation of some large equipment may also be necessary; ie golf cart, hand and forklifts, synthetic turf cleaning machine, etc.

Regular attendance is a necessary job function required for this position. Scheduled working hours vary depending on the season, program, or event. Typical business hours are needed for this position Monday-Friday, occasional weekends or holidays may be required.

While performing the duties of this job, team members are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle and operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Eyeglasses or corrective lenses may be worn to provide 20-20 vision. Hearing aids are also satisfactory.

Compensation is set at an hourly rate as a non-exempt employee.
