About Us:
The Kokomo Creek Chubs are a newly formed collegiate baseball organization playing in the prospect league. The league is made up of 20 teams located in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee and Pennsylvania.The Creek Chubs are owned and operated by Bullpen Ventures, a leading organization in amateur baseball. The Creek Chub organization is based in Kokomo IN. The team will play their games at the award winning Kokomo Municipal Stadium.
Full Job Description
The Kokomo Creek Chubs Baseball organization is seeking motivated, outgoing, and hard working individuals to apply for the 2026 Summer Internship Program. This opportunity is perfect for college students studying media, marketing, sports management and/or communications. This position will focus on working with our front office staff in selling tickets and driving revenue. 
This is an internship that will be demanding yet fun, and will allow you to gain valuable useful experience. We are looking for rockstars! People who want to have a lot of fun while working very hard to make every fan leave the ballpark with a smile and lasting memories. 
Position Overview:
The Sales Associate Intern will be ONSITE to assist the Creek Chub staff with the sale of tickets: single game tickets, group tickets, party deck tickets, suite tickets, etc. Intern will work closely with the front office staff to promote events, sell tickets, drive revenue, and ensure the stadium is full of Creek Chub fans each game. The intern will also work closely with our partners to ensure group outings go to plan and they have a personal contact for their gameday needs. This job will require cold calling and at times a boots on the ground approach to sales. 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Researching qualified leads.
  2. Researching local businesses, organizations, teams, etc.
  3. Mailing out large ticket blocks.
  4. Completing data entry utilizing Microsoft Excel and our ticket platform.
  5. Creating invoices, receipts, flyers, order forms, and more.
  6. Assisting in the planning and execution of ticket sales events.
  7. Focus on group sales while also selling single game to ticket options.
  8. Other duties and projects as assigned.
 Qualifications:
Willingness to support Operations dept as needed. 
 • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Sports Management,   or a related field.
 • Proficient with excel
 • Strong communication, organization, and writing skills with a passion for public speaking
 • Passion for baseball and ability to learn and understand our organizational values
 • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Details:
Months of Operation:  Mid-May through through Early August (Flexible start/end date)
50+ hours a week
Housing potentially available through host families
Compensation: Stipend + Commission Structure
