- Facility Management: By the end of 2026, Capacity Sports Group is expected to operate nearly 150 diamonds/fields across premier sports complexes, including Grand Park Sports Campus. CSG delivers turnkey venue operations encompassing field maintenance, food and beverage, janitorial services, and a best-in-class guest experience.
- Tournaments: Prep Baseball Tournaments hosts 300+ elite events annually across 10 exclusive venues and dozens of strategic partner sites nationwide. In 2026, Prep Baseball Tournaments projects to welcome more than 20 million visitors to events.
- Showcases and Scouting: Prep Baseball features the largest independent scouting infrastructure in amateur baseball across 47 states, Canada, and Taiwan, executing more than 1,600 events in 2025.
- Technology, Media and Data: Prep Baseball’s technology stack supports the athlete journey, while its niche-media strategy generated more than 2 billion impressions in 2025.
- Teams: Top Tier has been an elite travel baseball program since 2003, fielding more than 260 teams across 10 states and producing 79 MLB Draft picks and 11 Major Leaguers.
- Merchandise, Sponsors, and Partnerships: CSG scales on-site and online commerce through integrated merchandising, in-house printing, and strategic sponsor and brand partnerships across its venues and events.
Position Profile:
The Controller is a senior finance leader responsible for overseeing the organization’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information while supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
The Controller will manage the day-to-day accounting functions and will lead the financial close and reporting processes across the organization. The position plays a critical role in financial planning, policy development, and process development and improvement across the entire company, while partnering with executive leadership to support operational and strategic goals.
The Controller will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The Controller will work in a highly collaborative environment throughout many levels within the organization and will have direct supervisory responsibility for accounting and finance staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure timely and accurate financial statements
- Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls in an effort to further build out a company-wide, scalable closing process
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other applicable financial and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate and manage annual audits, tax filings, and other external reporting requirements
- Prepare and review financial analyses, forecasts, and management reports
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance metrics
- Support budgeting and financial planning processes in collaboration with leadership
- Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and controls to support growth and scalability
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
- Minimum of 6–10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Prior experience in a Controller or senior accounting role preferred
- Experience managing multi-entity or complex organizational structures
- Industry-adjacent experience preferred (multi-location operations, event management, hospitality, consumer services).
- Private equity-backed or high-growth experience preferred
- CPA preferred
- Willingness to relocate to Indiana within commuting distance to Westfield
