Job Summary
The Account Manager, Ticket Sales, will be a primary contributor to Spring Training and Bradenton Marauders group ticket, hospitality sales, season ticket and other plan sales. This position will assist the Manager, Ticket Sales & Service in all aspects of sales development and client services.
Responsibilities:
Primary
  1. Sell Spring Training and Bradenton Marauders ticket packages, group tickets and hospitality areas.
  2. Develop relationships with and generate group ticket revenue from various organizations including but not limited to: churches, youth sports, non-profits, schools, camps and businesses via outbound sales calls, in-person appointments and other methods. Assist with renewal of existing group accounts for Spring Training and Marauders.
  3. Provide superior customer service to existing clients, prospects, and any general calls that are received through the phone queue.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all contacts and communications in CRM.
  5. Represent the Pirates and Marauders at local networking and promotional events and through community involvement for the purpose of maximizing sales opportunities.
  6. Assist in executing of all pre, post, and in-game group ticket sales events sold by the Florida Operations staff.
  7. Assist with client services during Spring Training and Bradenton Marauders games, as well the execution of promotional nights.
  8. Participate in Ultimate Toolkit Sales Training and adhere to the learned sales techniques provided by the training program.
Secondary
  1. Assist with game day and operations duties, including pulling tarp, as needed.
  2. All other projects and tasks as assigned by Manager, Ticket Sales & Service
Qualifications:
Required
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sports Management, Sports Administration or related field
  2. Minimum 1 year of sales experience
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired
  1. Fluent in Spanish
  2. 1-3 years of experience working in the front office of a professional sports team or similar athletic organization
  3. Experience in Minor League Sports, preferably baseball               
  4. Experience with ticketing systems and CRM systems       
  5. Experience with Ultimate Toolkit Training with another organization or through college
Physical Requirements:
  • Use normal office equipment (i.e., telephone and computer)
  • Drive vehicles for company business
  • Lift and carry boxes of supplies and equipment on occasion. (up to 30 lbs. with assistance)
  • Assist with field maintenance operations as needed (pull tarp, etc.)
  • Weekend, holiday and evening hours may be required during Spring Training and Marauders season
