The Yolo High Wheelers are the newest expansion team to the historic Pioneer Baseball League, a professional MLB Partner League. The High Wheelers are the second team of the league’s West Coast expansion. Job Description
As the Clubhouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a professional and welcoming environment for players, coaches, and staff. Your responsibilities will extend to assisting clubhouse operations, equipment management, and facility coordination to ensure a seamless and efficient experience for the team. You will be responsible for assisting with the Home and Visiting Clubhouses. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Clubhouse Operations: Assist with the day-to-day clubhouse activities, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional space for players and umpires. Coordinate with Clubhouse Attendant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Equipment: Assist with the organization, distribution, and maintenance of player equipment, uniforms, and gear. Assist with the laundry of equipment and the inventory of laundry material when needed.
  • Facility: Work closely with the Clubhouse Attendant to coordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvements to the clubhouse and related facilities. Ensure that the clubhouse meets the needs of players, coaches, and umpires.
  • Player Services: Provide exceptional service to players, coaches, and umpires by anticipating and fulfilling their needs. Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere within the clubhouse.
  • Logistics: Ensure that the clubhouse is efficiently set up for both home and away games, including equipment, toiletry and meal needs.
  • Communication: Assist in the facilitation of clear communication between players, coaches, umpires and support staff regarding clubhouse-related matters.

  • Be of at least 18 years of age.
  • Punctuality and confidentiality are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Be comfortable multitasking and resolving issues

Working Conditions
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for an extended period of time.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25-35 lbs on occasion.

The offer range for this part time seasonal position is $16 per hour and this position runs from mid May to the end of the season in mid September.
