We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the season as an Oakland Ballers Associate. This role is intentionally designed for emerging sports business professionals who want hands-on experience inside a growing professional franchise. As a Ballers Associate, you will help power the fan experience while gaining meaningful exposure to how a modern sports organization operates.
Position Summary
The Oakland Ballers Associate plays an essential role in delivering the energy, organization, and service excellence that define the Ballers experience. Associates support the execution of gameday operations and business initiatives across the organization, including ticket and group sales, marketing campaigns, content creation, fan engagement, merchandise, entertainment, and front office projects.
This is a hands-on, developmental opportunity designed for emerging sports business professionals who want meaningful exposure to the inner workings of a growing professional franchise. Associates will work closely with front office leadership while building practical skills in live event execution, direct sales, and cross-functional collaboration.
The role is best suited for adaptable, proactive, team-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to something bigger than themselves.
Key Responsibilities
Gameday Operations May Include:
Fan Services
Serve as an usher or guest services representative, providing exceptional customer service, assisting guests with seating and navigation, and resolving inquiries promptly and professionally.
Ticketing, Parking & Crowd Control
Support day of game ticket needs, including sales, scanning and verify tickets. Assist with entry flow into Raimondi Park as a ticket taker and into Ballers parking lots as a parking attendant. Help maintain a safe and organized environment throughout the venue.
Game Presentation & Entertainment
Support the entertainment team's run of show, including on-field activities, scoreboard operations, in-game content support, and fan activations.
Merchandise, Groups & Activations
Assist with merchandise sales, group hospitality, sponsor activations, and special event coordination.
Setup & Breakdown
Partner with Operations to prepare the ballpark before gates open and assist with postgame breakdown of equipment, signage, and activation areas.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure all operational procedures and safety guidelines are upheld.
Front Office Support May Include:
Sales
Support individual and group ticket sales efforts, organize ticket packages, assist with outreach, and contribute to fan and sponsor initiatives.
Marketing
Assist with promotional execution, content support, street team efforts, and in-game marketing elements.
Operations
Provide administrative support across departments including logistics, non-gameday events, community outreach, etc.
Qualifications
Availability
In-person availability is expected for the full Oakland Ballers home schedule, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
Experience
Customer service, event operations, or sports-related experience preferred but not required.

Position Details
Employment Type: Seasonal (May–September 2026)*
Compensation: $17.34 per hour
Expected Hours: Average 25–40 hours per week, depending on the game schedule and team needs
Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Gamedays and certain events are in person at Raimondi Park; administrative, sales outreach and project work may be completed remotely. In-person availability is expected for the full Oakland Ballers home schedule, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.*
